Ms. Pamela Dede is an alternate Director representing the Principal Secretary for State Department of Investment and Industry; Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Development Economics from Williams College, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Government from the University of Nairobi.
Ms. Dede has worked in the civil service for over 35 years rising to the present grade of Deputy Director of Industries at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives. Previously she has acted as Managing Director at Kenya Accreditation Service ( KENAS ) and during this time represented the Government of the Republic of Kenya at United Nations meetings (UNCTAD, UNIDO, WTO etc.), EAC meetings and conferences and as a member of the delegation to AGOA, TICAD and other Industrial, Trade and Investment Summits. She is Currently a member of the Board of Africa Cancer Foundation.
Prior to joining NHC Board, Ms. Dede served as a Board member in the following organizations:-
(a) Kenya Wine Agencies (KWAL)
(b) Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute(KIRDI)
(d) Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority (TARDA)
